Things You Might Not Know About PRINCE2

Did you know that PRINCE2 has spread across the globe? Okay, so it's owned by the Office of Government Commerce (OGC) in the UK - but it's travelled a long way since its introduction in 1996. You may be aware also that PRINCE2 is huge in Australia, New Zealand and the Netherlands. But did you know it is also used as the Method of Choice in:

  • Denmark
  • Switzerland
  • North America
  • South America
  • Hong Kong
  • Hungary
  • Singapore
  • China
  • Indonesia
  • Italy
  • Bulgaria
  •  ....and probably other places I don't know yet!


I have delivered PRINCE2 training from San Francisco through to New York - and many places in between. I've held courses across Eastern Europe - Bratislava comes to mind...So I know its fame is spreading.

The PRINCE2 Manual has been translated into French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Dutch (one of the first after the UK!) There are many software tools that have been developed to support the application of PRINCE2 within an organisation.
