Mistake #1. Assuming fatally, that the complex Prince2 Manual will give you all you need to
learn Prince2, and pass their exams.
The manual only provides the WHAT -- not the WHY and HOW. Worse, it is arranged
in process/theme chapter collections, making it hard to read and absorb.
It's designed as a reference book not as a learning aid. That's why it looks complicated
to you - don't you agree?
Mistake #2. Leaving your preparation too late, and crucially, finding that it's more work
than you thought - you really need a Mentor.
People learn in different ways and at different speeds. YOU will learn best when it
suits your concentration and knowledge absorption 'body-clock'. Having a PRINCE2

Mistake #3. Not treating "learning Prince2" as a PROJECT

Mistake #5. Attending a 5-day Prince2 training event, and hoping that a learning miracle
will happen between Monday morning and Friday's Practitioner exam
The regular 5-day courses are designed to force-feed you Prince2 right up to the
Wednesday Foundation exam. That's just 3 days and 2 long nights studying. Thursday
gives you chance to practice - then suddenly - you're sitting the Practitioner.
A frightening thought -- isn't it?
Mistake #6. Not understanding that you MUST Undertake VITAL practice at answering both
Foundation AND Practitioner exam Sample Papers
